New year, New laws supporting small businesses….
The New Year brought a fresh set of challenges for those small businesses impacted by the latest round of sudden trading restrictions and border closures as a result of COVID outbreaks and new strains of the virus detected.
For many of these small businesses, the Summer holiday period was supposed to be their busiest time of the year. Those that were relying on a seasonal ramp-up in trade after an incredibly tough 12 months, have had their hopes cruelly dashed.
