STEPS is a vibrant community not-for-profit organisation focused on empowering individuals in need, assisting them to overcome barriers, so they can become active and contributing members within their communities.

Through a wide variety of employment, community and training programs, STEPS seeks to foster greater inclusiveness in our neighbourhoods. It’s all about maximising the potential of individuals, and enhancing communities.

STEPS started 20 years ago on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast with a group of concerned parents combining to help their children who had intellectual disabilities.

Now with 15 offices throughout Queensland and Northern Territory, STEPS is perhaps most well known for its highly successful employment services, assisting people with disability to find sustainable work within the open job market.

Success stories are many; people with disability finding self-esteem and fulfillment in employment, and employers finding motivated, grateful staff.

Through its growing number of government-funded training and community programs and broadening geographical base, STEPS continues to be a strong influence for social inclusion in communities throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory.

STEPS Training is a registered training organisation with an expanding scope of registration and a reputation for delivering innovative, engaging professional development courses.

The variety of community service programs STEPS delivers continues to broaden, all focused on making a difference for individuals, breaking down isolation and segregation, and building greater levels of dignity and confidence.

The Nurses for Nurses Network was established by two Australian Nurses, initially to provide a dedicated online CPD education platform which is now known as Nursing CPD. We believe that the knowledge and skills of an individual Nurse have a huge impact on the success of a patient’s experience in the healthcare system.

Then based on what other healthcare professions had been doing for decades, we then decided to provide Nurses with the same opportunity and now hold Nursing Conferences in some great and interesting locations, both in Australia and overseas, with the same exacting education standards that are currently available in the online CPD platform.

Our Why

We decided there had be a better way for the 50,000+ couples seeking divorce in Australia each year.  So, we created an online platform using a website to provide guidance in written and video format and an intuitive form to capture data so our team can make contact via telephone and email throughout the process.  The hearings are completed by telephone and there is no need for clients to enter a legal office or court room.

Our Results

A unique client experience for many relieved people with a user-friendly legal service that can be accessed from anywhere nationally.  For anyone facing time constraints, safety concerns or other barriers our model provides convenience, accessibility, a faster result and financial savings to obtain a Divorce and move forward with life.
