Selection Criteria

Age: The nominee must be 25 years old or younger at the time of nomination.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: Evidence of the nominee’s innovative thinking, risk-taking, and problem-solving skills in their business venture.
Business Success: Demonstrable success in their business, such as growth in revenue, market share, or customer base.
Leadership: The nominee should exhibit strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate their team.
Community Involvement: Active participation in community service or local business organizations, demonstrating a commitment to giving back to the community.
Ethics: The nominee should uphold high standards of integrity and business ethics.
Sustainability: Consideration of environmental and social impacts in their business practices, showing a commitment to sustainable business.
Future Vision: A clear vision for the future growth and development of their business.
Resilience: Evidence of the nominee’s ability to overcome challenges and obstacles in their entrepreneurial journey.
References: At least two references from clients, colleagues, or mentors who can attest to the nominee’s qualifications for the award.

Competition Terms and Conditions(Required)

Eligibility: The award entry is open to business or entities who meet the specified criteria outlined for the particular award category and operate in the Bundaberg Regional Council area.

Submission Guidelines: All entries must be submitted in this form.

Originality: Entries must be original and not infringe upon any copyrights or intellectual property rights of others. Plagiarism or the submission of any false or misleading information will result in disqualification.

Deadline: All entries must be submitted by the specified deadline as indicated in the award guidelines. Late submissions may not be accepted.

Judging Process: The judging process will be conducted by a panel of experts or designated individuals who possess relevant knowledge and experience in the field. The judging criteria and process will be determined at the discretion of the award organisers.

Selection and Notification: The award organisers reserve the right to select the winning entry based on the judging process. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection process. Winners will be announced at the Business Excellence Award evening.

Awards Presentation: The winners will be announced and recognised at the award ceremony and recognised on social media. Attendance at the award ceremony may be required to receive the award.

Publicity: By submitting an entry, participants grant permission to the award organisers to use their names, company/organisation names, logos, and submitted materials for promotional and publicity purposes related to the award.

Liability: The award organisers shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred as a result of participation in the award, or in connection with the award ceremony or any related activities.

Modification or Cancellation: The award organisers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the award or any part thereof, at their sole discretion, if circumstances beyond their control arise that affect the proper conduct of the award.

Compliance: Participants agree to comply with all the terms and conditions set forth in the award guidelines and any instructions provided by the award organisers.
